Courageous Consciousness: Challenging Bias, Building Solidarity

Courageous Consciousness™ is an interactive, research-informed seminar designed to move participants beyond surface-level understanding into active reflection, shared accountability, and measurable shifts in practice through the deliberate practice of bias interruption.

60-90 Minute Virtual or In-Person Workshop / Half Day PD (3hrs)

$2500 - $5000

Participants engage in structured dialogue, identity-based reflection, and real-time application strategies that build the capacity to:

  • Recognize bias (internal and external) 
  • Interrupt harmful patterns 
  • Strengthen trust across difference 
  • Contribute to more equitable and effective systems
     

Learning Goals

  • Develop a deeper understanding of how bias operates through language, perception, and systems
  • Strengthen their ability to engage in courageous, productive conversations across differences. 



Implicit Bias & Systems Analysis Training

This training guides educators and leaders in uncovering unconscious biases and examining how systemic inequities operate within schools. Through reflective activities and data analysis, participants gain clarity on how biases shape decision-making and impact student experiences. Expect to engage in collaborative action planning to interrupt and plan a response for inequitable patterns that may be present within the workflow.

  • Recognize implicit biases and their influence on perceptions and actions
  • Analyze institutional policies and practices through an equity lens
  • Understand the interconnectedness of individual and systemic bias
  • Build strategies to disrupt bias and cultivate inclusive culture systems

  • Heightened self-awareness regarding personal biases
  • Practical tools to assess and revise school policies and routines
  • Collaborative frameworks for equity-centered learn leadership and change
